Look Ma, No Hands!
Who needs a driver? 🤖 Our[CY]BEARCATS code team has been locked in, and AUTONOMOUS mode is officially live. We have learned it takes GRIT to overcome technical difficulties. Watching our robot move on its own for the first time has us fired up for this weekend's competition in Dalton. These Rookies are ready to hit the road.

Alumni Spotlight: Celebrating the Achievements of BHS Graduate Kylie Blackstock (McGlincy) and Her Ensemble
We are thrilled to congratulate Kylie Blackstock (McGlincy), an esteemed graduate of Bainbridge High School, who currently serves as the Director of Bands at Brantley High School. Under her exceptional leadership, her ensemble delivered a superior performance at the Georgia Bandmasters Association Concert Band Festival, showcasing their talent and dedication.
Kylie exemplifies the spirit of our alumni community by choosing a career in education, where she passionately imparts the knowledge and inspiration she received during her time at Bainbridge. Her commitment to excellence and nurturing of young talent continue to reflect the values of the Bearcat way.

The BassCat fishing team had four teams competing on Lake Hartwell on Saturday. Despite the long trip to the northeast corner of the state and fishing in tough conditions, our student anglers still managed to bring some nice fish to the scales.
Fisher Baty and Cole Henderson finished the event in 30th place with a 12.89 pound bag of bass. Drake Walls and Walker Brogdon finished in 43rd place with 11.13 pounds. Our teams of Caleb Logue and Hayden Reynolds, and Gunner Love and Kale Lambert had a tougher event despite having a good practice day on Friday, but still did a great job competing and representing the BassCats on Lake Hartwell.
A huge thank you to all of our team sponsors and boat captains who make these opportunities possible for our student anglers. Great job BassCats!

In the Senior division, our highest placing team was Brennan Enfinger and Connor Kennedy finishing the event in 5th place with an impressive 15.95 pounds and BIG FISH of the event weighing 5.68 pounds! BassCat team of Mason Bright and Jack Kennedy also had a great finish coming in 19th place with 11.40 pounds. The team of Layken Shockley and LD Humphrey finished in 27th place with 10.61 pounds. Great job to our Senior division teams all finishing in the top 30!
Our Junior Division team of Mason Weaver and Bryson Logue also had an awesome tournament coming in 4th place with 11.66 pounds! Another top 5 finish for the BassCats!
These student anglers continue to do a great job catching great sacks of fish and representing the BassCats! Thank you to the boat captains who invest the time to take our anglers all over the southeast so they can do what they love. Also, we thank all of our BassCat team sponsors who support our anglers and make these opportunities possible! #gobasscats #gobearcats
