Congratulations to the BassCat teams who fished hard all year to qualify and compete in the Florida Elite Championship on Lake Seminole last week. Also, good luck to our teams competing in the Georgia Bass State Championship today and tomorrow out of Big Jim's on Lake Seminole. It's going to be some hot days, but we hope to see some big fish brought to the scales! #gobasscats

Day 1 at STEM Camp was a BLAST!
[cy]BEARCATS #11214 is making an IMPACT! We had an amazing time working with rising 1st-8th graders, exploring STEM fundamentals, coding with Spheros, and catching yellow balls shot by KIT CAT—our [CY]BEARCATS' robot from last year's REBUILT season. Our newly forming FTC teams for Bainbridge Middle School are also hard at work this week, learning the ropes and practicing core values alongside everyone. Can't wait for an incredible week ahead! 🤖

☀️ Summer is here, and so are our BHS Summer Interns! ☀️

These Bearcats are spending their summer gaining valuable real-world experience, building important workplace and communication skills, and working alongside employees throughout the Decatur County School System and Board of Education.

From organizing materials and assisting with daily operations to learning the importance of teamwork, responsibility, and professionalism, our interns are getting a firsthand look at what it takes to keep our district moving forward.

Helmets are available in small, medium, and large sizes on a first come, first served basis for anyone who rides a bike, skateboard, scooter, or participates in other wheeled activities.
