Bainbridge Middle School’s very own Ms. Patricia Isom received national recognition on May 9, 2025, when Good Morning America surprised her live on air as part of their “Breakfast in Bed” Mother’s Day special. Out of over 2,000 nominations from across the country, Ms. Isom was chosen for her unwavering dedication as a mother, educator, and community role model.

The celebration took place in the school gymnasium, where students, staff, friends, and family gathered to cheer her on. Ms. Isom was treated to breakfast in bed on the gym floor, heartfelt tributes from loved ones, and a series of surprise gifts!

In a heartfelt gesture of gratitude, the City of Bainbridge officially proclaimed May 9th as Patricia Isom Day, forever honoring her extraordinary impact on the lives of students and families in the community.
