The Lady Cats traveled to Lagrange GA to compete in the Georgia 3A State Championship. The tournament was played in a 2 day event playing 18 holes each day. The Lady Cats battled hard on a very hard Highlands Country Club course that demanded not only challenging shots but also very steep hills and slopes. The Lady Cats ended up playing 11th in state for the year. “Although, not the outcome we had hoped for definitely gives the team momentum to build upon going into next season”, said Coach Harrell.
John David Bell represented the Bearcat team after his stellar performance at Area tying for low medalist for Area earning him a spot to compete for the state championship. John David fought hard and made some of his best shots in his four year golf career for the Bearcats. John David ended up in 34th place individually in the state. "I’m super proud of John David for working so hard all season long to improve his game”, said Coach Greg.
