Colorful Collaboration at Bainbridge High School!

BHS Chemistry and Art students teamed up in a Creative Lab, making Homemade Sidewalk Chalk! Mr. Kelley’s Chemistry students Synthesized Calcium Carbonate, Filtered it, then headed to the Art Room. Mrs. Cole provided pigments to mix in for vibrant color. Using molds, they shaped the chalk, and once dry, took it outside to test it out. The sidewalks are now bursting with color! What an awesome way to blend science and art!
